Madison Elizabeth Brantley
Your grandparents lied to you about me. They manipulated you and made you feel uncomfortable around me. The counselor that you and saw told the judge that Nora raising you and your brother was her “do over” because her kids had so many issues, and that Nora needed to prove she could raise good kids.
I’ve sent you cards and they’ve been returned. Your family have sent you cards not knowing if you would receive them because your grandparents would intercept them. I saved the cards that were returned to me in case you ever felt the desire to reach out to me.
David and Nora never tried to help us to have a relationship. Instead they did whatever they could to keep you from trusting me and bonding with me. I had to have a police officer present whenever I picked you up or dropped you off with them, and I videoed them because your grandpa shoved me in front of you one time. I still have all of the videos.
I’ve had to watch you grow up through pictures from Heritage. Your grandparents weren’t even willing to send me picture of you.
You can read about my journey with trying to get my rights with you here.
I want you to know how much I miss you and love you. I pray for you everyday. I hope that one day you’ll realize that you haven’t been told the truth about who I am and why I made the decisions I made.
Will you give me an opportunity to tell my side of what happened? You can reach out to me here.
